Does anyone know a recipe book that has the instructions for a jam sandwich?

I am teaching a lesson on fiction and non fiction books for 6 year olds and need a non fiction book/ recipe book on making a jam sandwich, can anyone help?Does anyone know a recipe book that has the instructions for a jam sandwich?
yes, ';The manual of army catering';,(British) known as the, ';mac manual';,It also batters them then deep fries them. You must try them they are great.Does anyone know a recipe book that has the instructions for a jam sandwich?
Deep Fried Jam Sandwich

5 whole eggs

陆 lb self-raising flour

录 pt milk

1 punnet of strawberries

icing sugar

8 slices of brioche (1 cm thick)

Strawberry jam

4 large strawberries

10 strawberries for garnish

10 leaves of mint

Serves: 4 People

For the batter, place eggs in a large mixing bowl whisk until light and fluffy. Sieve flour into eggs and mix well. Now gradually add milk, little at a time. For the coulis, place the punnet of strawberries and icing sugar in a blender and pulse to a smooth paste. Pass through a fine sieve and chill. For each serving, take 2 slices of brioche and spread evenly with jam and cover with sliced strawberries. Place the slices together and dust heavily in icing sugar, making sure all areas are covered to allow the batter to stick. Place in batter, being careful not to loose any filling. Remove from batter and place in hot oil (180 潞C). Cook each side until lightly brown on both sides. Remove from oil and place on absorbent paper. To serve, dice remainder of strawberries, scatter on plate. Finely chop mint and sprinkle on strawberries. Drizzle with strawberry coulis, dust sandwich with icing sugar and slice to serve. The sandwich can be served with fresh cream or ice cream.
Too difficult for me. Sorry, - I am sad I cannot help.

The best of luck. You have an unusual task ahead.

I sincerely hope you get the problem sorted before your guests arrive.

Happy New Year to you and what must be your devastated family.............God bless you.....xxx
whenever I'm looking for recipes i go on google and type it in then print it out , but if you don't want to waste paper go to your local library and ask or search on there computers. also try asking for the little six year olds to find books for themselves that way it will be less trouble for you. REMEMBER they have parents.
This type of book is available at all major book stores.
