If it's just pasta recipes you want, then yes. I recommend the following cokbook - The Essential Pasta Cookbook, Murdoch Books. It's absolutely brilliant and contains authentic Italian pasta recipes.
As an Italian I would recommend ';il talismano della felicita'; by Ada Boni. Almost any Italian family has it! It contains practically everything. I could not live without!
