Do you think I can make a lot of money from publishing a recipe book?

I want to publish a recipe book on casseroles that I've created.Do you think I can make a lot of money from publishing a recipe book?
Honey I finished writing my cookbook manuscript in Jan and found out this morning that it will be publish in Sept. Email me and I'll send you the Publisher's contact info and my editorial director's email.Do you think I can make a lot of money from publishing a recipe book?
yes if your recipes are good.....i love casseroles
Depends on how good the recipes are. I dont know how appealing a casserole cookbook would be. I'm a chef and love cookbooks. I dont think I would purchase a casserole cookbook though. I look for interesting, new recipes that Ive never heard of or find in restaurants. Stuff like foreign dishes. Casseroles just dont cut it for me. But good luck. Let me know the name and I'll keep a look out for it. If its appealing I may even buy it!
Are you going to include ';cooking for ONE'; with proper recepes.

send me the info I'll buy one.

but if you cooking for 4,, forget it
You may be able to make money from it. Most families now have both parents working and there are many single parent homes. These people love single dish dinners. You might want to try putting basics into the cookbook too - things such as how long to cook eggs (soft, hard, etc.), how long and at what temperature to cook various meats. Many people need to know these things.

Personally, I don't collect or have a lot of cookbooks. However I would buy one that had other things in it too. I don't cook very often being single and sometimes I need to refresh my memory on the basics.

A good idea might be to put in suggestions on how to use casseroles, such as for work potlucks, assembling a casserole in the morning to pop in the oven in the evening, etc.
No, there are already plenty of cookbooks around, if you have a very unique recipe send it to the food section of your local news paper and you will be proud to see is published.
Starting an small business is hard. I am also trying start a cake business. I recommend joining your local church and trying do as many samples as you can from your book. Also go your local independent business and try to promote your self that way setting a both and offering samples to people also offer your book at a special price. Also volunteering at local chamber of commerce they might have a man who cook event that would be great for you to take part in. GOOD LUCK
There are so many casserole cookbooks out there. You would have to come up with an idea to make yours stand out though.

There is definitely a need for a cookbook with good ol' fashion casseroles and good ol' down home cooking for people that are just starting out cooking. Such as young couples
If your recipe book is easy to read and your recipes are not easy to find in another book, why not?

I wish you good luck.
