My gosh what I question! There are so many! I have a great dessert that I got from Gordon Ramsey. URL link is included.
Hot chocolate fondant
Hot chocolate fondant
Ingredients
2 servings
# 50g unsalted butter, plus extra to grease
# 2 tsp cocoa powder, to dust
# 50g good quality bitter chocolate (minimum 70% cocoa solids), in pieces
# 1 free range egg
# 1 free range egg yolk
# 60g caster sugar
# 50g plain flour
# icing sugar to dust
# vanilla ice cream to serve
Method
Preheat oven to 160藲C/Gas 2.
Butter two large ramekins, about 7.5cm in diameter, then dust liberally with cocoa, shaking out any excess.
Slowly melt the chocolate and butter in a small bowl set over a pan of hot water, then take off the heat and stir until smooth. Leave to cool for 10 minutes.
Using an electric whisk, whisk the whole egg, egg yolk and sugar together until pale and thick, then incorporate the chocolate mixture. Sift the flour over the mixture and gently fold in, using a large metal spoon. Divide between the ramekins and bake for 12 minutes.
Turn the chocolate fondants out on to warmed plates. Dust the tops with icing sugar and serve with a spoonful of vanilla ice cream.I am trying to put a recipe book together?
The only way to put together a recipe book it to try all the recipies. One at a time or a couple a day. It's going to take you a long time.
Good luck!
Right Hollie,
One of the cheapest, tastiest and easiest meals around. All the way from Northern Ireland.
It is called Champ
Peel %26amp; boil potatoes and then mash.
Finely chop bunch of spring onions (scallions in N.Ireland)
Add finely chopped scallions to some milk (approx half - threeqtrs pint) and bring to just before milk and contents boil
Pour on to mashed spuds and mix in thoroughly.
Spoon on to individual plates and shape to look like a volcano with a crator on the top.
Insert a large knob of butter into the crator and finally stick three or four grilled sausages into the sides of the 'volcano'.
Result --- great. Have you ever come across an Irish man who was skinny.
Yum Yum
Surdy lol
Very easy and very good
Tuddy Soup:
1.5 # of browned ground beef
1 large can Diced Tomatoes
1 small can Diced Tomatoes
2 cans cream corn
1 can pinto beans
1 can Ranch style beans
1 can hominy
1 pkg taco seasoning
1 pkg Ranch seasoning
Heat and simmer. Serves 6-8 people
Italian Sauce
1 med. onion, chopped
1 12 oz. can tomato paste
0.5 tsp salt
1 tsp pepper
3 garlic cloves, cut fine
1/3 cup sugar
(3) 12 oz. cans of water
Brown onions, when just about brown add fresh garlic and brown for a minute more. Remove from heat and add tomato paste and water. Add seasoning and mix. Cook until begins to boil and lower heat to medium. Cook for 2 - 2 1/2 hours, stirring frequently and uncovered. Season to taste as needed. Serves 4.
Simon's Sausage Gravy
0.5 # bulk pork sausage
2 TBSP chopped yellow onion
3 TBSP flour
2 cups hot milk
Salt and pepper to taste
Heat pan and fry sausage and onion until sausage is brown and onion clear.
Drain off grease except for 2 TBSP. Today's sausage is lean and has little grease - you may have to add some oil.
Stir in flour and cook for just a minute
Add hot milk
Stir constantly until the mixture thickens and then season with salt and pepper - not much salt is needed but pepper is a must.
Serve over warm biscuits. Serves 4.
One of my favorite appetizer recipes is for Spinach-Artichoke Dip. Here it is:
1 can artichoke hearts in water
1 pkg frozen spinach, thawed
1 cup mayo (lite is okay)
1 cup parmesan cheese
1-2 cloves of garlic, chopped well
1 8oz pkg shredded cheddar (white or orange)
salt %26amp; pepper to taste
Preheat your oven to 350 degrees Farenheit.
Drain the water off the artichokes and chop the hearts into small pieces. Leave somewhat chunky though. After the spinach is thawed, take a clean (dark preferrably) kitchen towel and squeeze as much water as you can out of the spinach. Once you've removed the water, give the spinach a few chops to separate the big leaves. Next, mix all of the ingredients EXCEPT for the shredded cheddar in a bowl until everything is a uniform consistency. Spread into an 8x8 glass baking dish and top evenly with the shredded cheddar. Cover the dish with foil and bake for 20-25 minutes until the cheese is golden and bubbly on top. Serve with crackers, tortilla chips and fresh veggies. Enjoy!
You must be careful that any recipes in your book are original ( you can NOT use Ramsay etc `cos you could be done for plagiarising) First you need to decide the ';style'; of your book otherwise it will be ';nowt nor summat'; as we say in the frozen North - good luck
I Can give you loads on game etc, Im not going to list them all for the sake of it though, however if your intrested you can e mail me
