How do I sell my recipe book?

I want to come out with my own recipe book. I know how to write it... I know how to publish it... But I do not know how to sell it. Who would care about me? I'm not on TV. I don't know how to get people interested in it and I do not know how to put it out there so people will see it. I don't know how to get it in stores.How do I sell my recipe book?
Perhaps your local bookstore (Barnes %26amp; Noble?) would be interested. They have local area sections for local interests. They might even do a meet the author thing. Offer a certain percentage of sales to benefit your local school or hospital. Or maybe the hospital would allow you to sell copies there--again the local author angle.
